THE SMALL PRINT (Terms of Trade & Guarantee)
General Terms of Trade
An hourly rate is charged for all work undertaken with a minimum charge of one hour and then charged in 15 minute blocks. Disbursements such as photocopying, toll calls, fax charges, etc incurred on behalf of the client are additional.
A tax invoice will be issued on completion of job or at a time otherwise agreed between the client and Office Support Services Ltd. A deposit may be required prior to commencing work, or incremental payments may be required for large projects which may be worked on over a period of a month or more.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice for casual work, and regular clients are payable within 7 days of receipt of invoice. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, direct bank deposit.
Rates are advised at time of initial job submission. Office Support Services Ltd reserves the right to amend its charging structure at any time.
Final responsibility for proofreading completed work rests with the client.
Office Support Services Ltd has made a commitment to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1993 which relate to the collection, storage, usage and disclosure of personal and confidential information.
Office Support Services Ltd reserves the right to refuse a job for whatever reason and without giving reason for such refusal.
Should payment not be made as outlined above, Office Support Services Ltd reserves the right to charge penalty interest at 15% per annum together with any additional costs incurred on recovery of any outstanding amounts on a solicitor and own client basis.
By using Office Support Services Ltd you are undertaking that you have agreed with these terms and that your undertaking is legally binding.
Conditions of Guarantee
If a typographical error is found in any standard typed document, Office Support Services Ltd will correct that error free of charge, but the error must be notified to Office Support Services Ltd within 24 hours of receipt of completed work.
This condition applies only to standard word processed/typed documents, and not to special formatting work, data entry, spreadsheet and database work, or any other type of document or work undertaken. It also does not apply to errors made by the author that are subsequently included in the work by Office Support Services Ltd. Final responsibility for proof-reading all completed work rests with the client.
